[MR] 12th Night A&S

Greetings good gentles all,

I have received several inquiries about A&S at 12th
Night indicating some confusion about activities.  The
Laurel's Prize Tourney is an "open"
competition/display--it is not limited to items from
the 14th C, and artisans who will be competiting at
KASF are particularly encouraged to bring their works
in progress!  The "prizes" are those small tokens that
individual Laurels may chose to bestow on artisans
whose work particularly impresses them, or who they
particularly want to encourage. You'll be able to read
a fuller description in my December Acorn letter, or
can surf on over to the event website (where the
relevant paragraph has been posted).

The Open Display, however, is a different activity
altogether.  This display is limited to items from the
14th C, at the request of her majesty.
