This deals particularly with those who attend Pennsic War in August in Pennsylvania. If your group will not or does not Pennsic War, kindly disregard this message. For those of us who have attended Pennsic War, and are familiar with its target Archery shooting, you know that there is a group that stands out from the rest. A group with the reputation that precedes it, with a leader whose reputation precedes him by no less than a quarter of an hour wherever he goes. The group I speak of is one of the largest mercenary archery groups in the society. The name of this group is The Bastard Brigade, lead by Captain Major Lord Frederick The Bastard of Ealdormere. For the past five years they have been under the employ of the glorious kingdom of Ealdormere. But this year, they can be yours. 

Think of it. Your own Archery unit, whether to make a first time showing for your group, or to beef up your own ranks, 50-80 archers is nothing to sneeze at. Neither are their scores. In the five years they were contracted to Ealdormere, they shot an average score of 188. 

For Pennsic 31, The Bastard Brigade is accepting bids. The highest bidder will receive the services of The Bastard Brigade for archery shooting purposes throughout the duration of the War, including a detachment to join your procession during Opening Ceremonies, if you'd like.
