Well, sure there could be green stuff.

I have a friend at work who is red-green color blind. And at least to him,
red or green things don't look 'gray', but they look like red/green. It is
one color to him.

So a 4ft Red Ballista Bolt flying at him, and a 3ft GREEN taped Golf Tube
(Because someone choose to for 'marking' their own). Are going to look
very close to each other.

And a 4ft Red Ballista Bolt, and a 4ft Green Hand Javelin, are going to
look IDENTICAL.

So the point does still stand. That if we are truly wanting to pick a
single color, that all 'kill through shield' weapons can be marked
with. EITHER, it shouldn't be red, or if it is red, It should state in the
rules that golf tube arrows and hand Javelins should NOT be covered in
green tape.

Otherwise we have a rule that helps 90% of the fighters on the field
(approximately), and the other 10% are still operating under the 'original'
rule of having to look at the ammo in detail (or have a buddy tell them).

A different color (or banning green tape from similar ammo), would make it
work for 99.5% of people! (Reserving .5% for people with the more rare
color blindness's that exist and you can't account for everyone *grin*)
