December 15, 2001 - Toys for Tots Tourney
Canton of Falcon Cree, The Pavilion, Taylors, SC

O Yea, O Yea! To all the gentles from the Kingdom of Atlantia. Come and join
the
Canton of Falcon Cree for their 10th Annual Toys for Tots Tournament! We plan
a festive
day, filled with fighting and the spirit of giving. Toward that end, we
humbly beg for your
attendance as we plan a raid on the encampment of the nameless Prince who has
robbed
our kingdom of the toys we had gathered for the noble U.S. Marine Corps.

Arts and Sciences: There will be a competition for period toys and Christmas
ornaments,
as well as a period story or poem. Competitors, bring your best period
costumes for Santa
Claus, Father Christmas or Grandfather Winter. Your entry fee as always is
one new,
unwrapped toy for each competition you enter.
Heavy Weapons: Come and show your prowess on the field of honor. There will
be
prizes awarded for the most skilled fighters in Sword and Shield, Two Sword,
and Great
Sword. We also have readied a special scenario for the overall tournament
winner!
Rapier: A very special rapier tournament will reveal not who can best wield
the rapier --
but he or she whose personal herald or retinue must outpraise all others when
presenting
their duelist in prose or poetry direct from the fighter’s quill.
Boffer Weapons: For the children ages 8-16, we will have a boffer tourney.
Hound Coursing: Once again, the field is clear for our beautiful Atlantian
racing hounds.
Please bring your site hound for an afternoon of speed, excitement, and the
admiration of
the populace.
Cost: As in the past, the site fee is one new, unwrapped toy for the United
States Marine
Corps Toys for Tots program. Also, all fighters wishing to compete in the
Heavy
Weapons and Rapier competitions must donate one toy for each forum in which
you
desire to compete.

SC 29687.
