Greetings Unto the Gentles of Atlantia.
There have been a few changes to the schedule for the University.
The following track was left off the schedule inadvertantly. I'm sorry for
any inconvience this has caused.
116 - Beginning Names (Eldred Aelfwald). If you are interested in picking
your first SCAdian name or you just want a new name this class will help
find the period name that makes you happy. There will be ample time for
questions.
216 - Atlantian Order of Precedence (Eogan mac Ailpein). This class will
explain who those people are with the crowns and coranets and about all of
the awards and orders of Atlantia. There will be ample time for questions.
There may be chocolate for clever students
316 - How to run a Court (Eogan mac Ailpein). So you want to be a Court
Herald. This is the class for those of you that want to run a court.
Students who don't want to be a herald but want to see the
behind-the-scenes of how a court is run are also welcome.
416 - How to be a Group Herald 101(Eogan mac Ailpein). This class will
focus on the nuts and bolts of how to be a group herald. We will start with
the basics, about, The College of Heralds and book heraldry, and how to
support and encourage heraldry in your group. This is meant as an overview.
516 - How to be a Tourney or Field Herald. This class will focus on how to
herald a tourney .
616 - Beginning Armory (Alleyne Blackburn). So you think you are ready to
design your first device. This class will go over the basics of how to
design your personal device. There will be time for many questions.
The following classes have been cancelled:

205 Siege of Jerusalem
503 Beginning Garb
608 Better Embroidery
The following classes have been added:
205A - Beginning Exchequer (Briana Morgan of the Valley). This is an
introduction to the forms and requirements of the office of the Exchequer.
505A - Practical Barding Construction (Katharyn Clatworthy). A hands-on
class for everyone wishing to ride a well-dressed horse. We'll cover
materials and patterns for a 16th Century-looking caparison adapted for our
modern lifestyle. We'll also cut and assemble a complete set of
"one-size-fits-all" barding (very appropriate for the non-horse-owner!) to
demonstrate the techniques. (2 hrs)
In Service,

Chancellor
