I am passing on this call for help from Mistress Allasondrea de Fano the
Coordinator for Children's Corner at Atlantrian 20 Year:
Tehair MacDiarmada
KMoM
*********
This is a call for help with our children's activities for 20 year. We
anticipate 60-80 kids in attendance at the event. We are in great need of
adults to supervise the various activities that we have planned. Children's
activities are scheduled from 1-4 on both Saturday and Sunday.
Our intent is to run a mini-children's fete like the one at Pennsic with
various stations set up and running the whole 3 hours each day. The
stations currently planned include general crafts, coloring, painting,
active games, board games, cookie decorating, a bardic corner, fiber play,
and a few other activities. We have a few people lined up to help with the
bardic stuff but we could also use some people to read a story (books
provided) or lead some children's songs and to help man stations. We also
need administrative assistance in signing in the kids and volunteers. You
do not need to be there the entire 3 hours, but any amount of time you are
willing to grant us would be great. We will be in a building diagonally
across from the bath house/pool.
Please pass this call for help to any one you think might be interested in
helping out. The list of activities is attached below and will be posted to
the Atlantian 20 year web site, http://www.ravenstreet.org/20yc/, so if you
know any
parents bringing their children to 20 year, please let them know. We
hope to also have signs posted at troll and at the children's activities
building.
We hope to make this as memorable an event for our children as well as
for the adults. Please consider lending us an hour or so of your time
so that we can make that happen.
