Barony of Sacred Stone, Elkin Municipal Park, NC

                       RETURN TO TROY I:  The War Begins

	Martial Activities:  Heavy Fighting: The Rules for the Heavy scenarios 
will be available via
email before the event.  For those of you not familiar with the event, 
teams of heavy fighters and archers attack and defend what are essentially 
ruggedized theater sets.  Teams typically consist of five heavy fighters 
and one archer.  Team sizes may be changed at the event based on 
participation.  Fighting will start promptly at 10:30 AM.  Authorizations 
will be performed as necessary throughout the day, time permitting.  For

will be similar with RBG in addition to archers.  For requests/questions on

	A&S: Best Trojan horse in any medium.  Poetry or storytelling competition 
for Greek Mythology.

	Site: Elkin Municipal Park, Elkin, NC 28621.  Site will open at 5pm on 
Friday night and will close at 3pm on Sunday.  This is a camping event. 
 Motels are available 5 minutes from site.  Leash law for pets.  Bathrooms 
and showers are available on site.  The site is very discreetly wet 
(absolutely no original containers in public site).  No ground fires are 
permitted.  Bring your bathing suit!  There will be a pool party from 7 to 
9 pm Saturday night.

	Feast: Feast will be held at the finest eatery in Elkin!  Feast will be 
limited to 100, so please reserve early.  No pets in feast hall.  Meal 
includes coffee, tea or soft drinks.   Cash bar available in feast hall, no 
brown bag allowed.

	Cost: $5 off-board or $12 on-board.  Children 12 - 6 off-board $2 or $6 
on-board.  Children 5 and under are our guests.  Make checks payable to 
"Barony of Sacred Stone".
