Good evening! The information and recommendations below were provided to
me today, and it seemed like valuable information to pass on.
----------------------------------------------------------
For those Gentles who will be attending 20th Year and who will be
arriving
via the Central Virginia route, crossing into Maryland over the Potomac
River at the 301 Bridge just above Dahlgren, the following information
may
be of interest to you:

Once you cross the 301 Bridge, you will be approximately one hour from
the
event site. Opportunities to purchase gasoline along your route in
Maryland
will be infrequent, and the prices are currently averaging as much as 20
cents per gallon more here than in Central Virginia. (Chalk it up to
significantly higher gas taxes.)

The last opportunity to purchase reasonably-priced gasoline will be in
the
Dahlgren, VA area, with the VERY LAST gas station being the Sheetz on
your
left, one mile from the 301 Bridge. The Sheetz tends to be the
least-expensive place for gas in Dahlgren. Besides cheaper gas,
Dahlgren
also boasts a couple of fast food places and a grocery store.

Do yourself a favor. Stetch your legs, maybe grab a bite to eat, but by
all
means be certain to gas-up your car before crossing into Maryland. What
you
don't have to pay for gas is money you can spend on a merchant at 20th
Year,
or donate to the Kingdom via the Oak auction! :)
----------------------------------------------------------
Good ideas... and we have a LOT of really great merchants planning to be
at the event. And have you seen these auction items yet?

See you at 20-year!
Anne.
