Apparently the Public Broadcasting System - PBS, in NC at least, 
is having a show in which modern experts try to make missle
launching devices resemble medieval counterparts.
Tonite at 9pm EST on NOVA. If tonite is not the night for
NOVA in your area, I suggest you might want to see this one.

If it's anything like the last show on building two medieval
trebuchets I saw it'll be well worth it.
