contrary to popular belief, most plastic armor is not made of kydex, its
made of abs.  the only differences between abs and kydex are, kydex can
withstand temperatures twice as high as abs without any ill effects and
kydex costs about 60% more than abs.

anyway, plastic sheets come in standard 4 x 8 size and one is more than
enough to make two sets for a person your size.  i can call tomorrow and get
you some prices and availability status if you want. (the rest was simply a
public service announcement).
