Unto  the populace

Our good Baron knows what treasures are beyond the price of both gold and
rubies: the respect and love of his people, the sister/brother that fights
at your back, the warmth of fire at a friend's hearth,  and the chill of
good brew down your throat.

Those to whom these are important, even now join under his banner with
little thought of material gain.

Being a women of needle and thread, I seek not the field of battle.  But any
who threaten my daughters, my holdings, my baron, or his lands better stay
out of the reach of my well-aimed needle, my heddle bar of death, and my
youngest daughter's attemps at cookery!
