Greetings!

I'm sure many of you are wondering what has happened to Sheep Raids, the
annual event hosted by the Shire of Seareach. Well, due to several issues
with our traditional site, we will no longer have "Sheep Raids" on the last
weekend in April. It has always been a public demo/event for us. The one
will now become two - we will continue to offer our assistance to Poplar
Grove Plantation (a fund raiser for them) and host a DEMO for them the last
weekend of April AND our EVENT has moved to September 21st, pending date
approval. More news on the event to follow ASAP.

************************************

As for our POPLAR GROVE DEMO, SATURDAY, APRIL 28th, 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM
Shire or Seareach , Wilmington, NC

Greetings Good Gentles! The Shire of Seareach is hosting our annual demo
(formerly Sheep Raids) at Poplar Grove Plantation on April 28th. We invite
anyone who is interested to come and help us out with this traditionally
fun day. The Plantation is open to the public at 10:00 AM and the
festivities will end around 5:00 PM.

Come show off your skills as an artisan or on the field of combat - heavy
AND rapier. Merchants are welcome and encouraged! This event usually
draws over 5,000 people for the day.

Please contact Lady Teza Aubry (Meredith Adams) at (910) 392-7797 for more
details. The site will be open at approximately 8:00 AM for setup, and will
close at 6:00 PM to the SCA. We will be more than happy to provide you with
crash space, or many hotels are available in the area. We will be glad to
pass on this information to you. Please come help us out and have a great
day of fun at the coast!

Caroline, Seneschal
Shire of Seareach
