Julianna Margulies, and Academy Award® nominee Joan
Allen are set to start production in Turner Network
Television's (TNT) THE MISTS OF AVALON, an exciting
new twist on the magical legend of King Arthur, it was
announced today by Julie Weitz, executive vice
president of original programming, TNT. Samantha
Mathis, Caroline Goodall, Edward Atterton, Michael
Vartan and Hans Matheson will also star in the
four-hour miniseries, which will premiere on TNT in
July 2001.*
