Greetings all Good Gentles,

The time of Storvik's Novice Tourney draws near, and as such it is my desire
to invite all who read this to join us for a day of fighting, and fun. The
A&S activities for this event include both a competition and an afternoon of
games. The date of the event is Saturday, June 30th.

The theme for our competition is demonstrations. Please bring along your
favorite projects, crafts, arts and sciences to demonstrate to the populous
(who will also serve as our judges). Demonstrations that include elements
of audience participation are very much encouraged. This is a good chance
to introduce others to your favorite A&S activity. I'd love this to be a
showcase of A&S in action, where the populous gets a chance to see what
really goes into each the fisnished products we see elsewhere. All levels
of expertise are welcome and invited to share. As I mentioned earlier, the
populous will be given the opportunity to vote for their favorite
demonstrations, and the winner of the competiton will be chosen once their
votes are tallied. Please keep in mind while planning, that the site
consists of a large open field, a shady treed area, and a single picnic
pavillion. Table space in the pavillion will be very limited and is on a
first come first serve basis. You are welcome to demonstrate under your own
dayshade, on a blanket in the shade, or whatever other ideas you can come up
with.

We will also enjoy a lazy afternoon of friendly competition. In this
spirit, we've planned a few games to keep you entertained. We've got Bocce
and board games, but what have you? Please bring any games that you wish to
share with others, both active and quiet games are most welcome.

If you have any questions, the best way to reach me is via email, as I am in
the middle of move, with changing phone numbers an all! I hope to see you
all at Storvik's Novice Tourney on Saturday, June 30th in Riverdale, MD.

Yours in Service,
Lady Mor Fhionn
Minister of Arts and Sciences
Barony of Storvik
