Greetings All,

I just finished reading "Face Down in the Marrow Bone Pie", the first in a series by Kathy Lynn Emerson (there are 5 so far).  The series begins at the begining of Elizabeths reign and I found it to be quite enjoyable!  Not everything is completely accurate but a good portion gives a person ideas for character and background creation.  She gives details of the lifestyle and surroundings.  At one point even the cost of swine and fabric.  This author has written several "period" books and seems to know her stuff.  She even admits when she does something that she calls a blooper in a webpage and gives a bibliography to the research she puts in the books.
