Unto the people of Atlantia do I, Lord James Beckett of Westmorland,
Seneschal of the Barony of Stierbach, send greetings...
Please note that there was a misprint the flyer that was sent to the
Merry Rose yesterday. The site for Stierbach's Baronial Birthday,
Prince William Forest Park in Triangle, VA, is DRY, in accordance with
Federal Regualations. Please do not bring alcohol to the site. Also,
again in accordance with Federal Regulations, there are no weapons
permitted on site. Please leave live steel at home or in your car
(eating daggers are of course permitted, but should not be worn). We
greatly appreciate everyone's understanding of this. Those of you that
have been to this site know how good it is, and how much we want to
avoid any problems that might cause us to lose its use in the future.
IMPORTANT! Feast is almost SOLD OUT! If you're thinking of coming to
the event and want to enjoy the wonderful feast, once again prepared by
our award winning team of Lady Jenet Fairhaugh and Lady Gwynaeth
Pembroke, please get your reservations in the mail soon! The planned
menu is listed below, and having been present for a tasting of the
recipies, I can vouch for the excellence of this feast. Please mail all
reservations to the autocrat, Lady Constanza de Tallavera.
Yours In Service,
James
