Very strange...

Twice this last week, in a *mundane* setting with people who do not
know of my association with the SCA, I've had people address me as
"my lady".  Today it was my doctor...

Has anyone else seen this happening?  Are we affecting the fabric of
American society, so that we are slowly sliding back to the courtesy
of the Middle Ages?
