The following items were ACCEPTED by the Laurel Sovereign of Arms at her
April meeting:
ATLANTIA
Adeliza of Bristol. Device. Azure, an owl maintaining an acorn between
flaunches argent each charged with a decrescent sable.
Akilah of Seareach. Alternate name {Y'}ri Feilan.
Alicia Rose Wolf. Name and device. Sable, in fess two wolf's heads
cabossed and in base a rose argent slipped and leaved fesswise Or, on
a chief triangular argent a heart gules.
Ali{e'}nor de Narbonne. Name.
Alvaro de la Bastida. Name and device. Argent, a griffin sejant dexter
forepaw raised sable, on a chief azure three acorns Or.
Submitted as Alvar de la Bastida, he requested an authentic 15th
century Iberian name. We have therefore changed the given name to
a form used in that time period.
Atlantia, Kingdom of. Badge for the Atlantian Pages Academy.
(Fieldless) On a rose within and conjoined to an annulet azure a
chalice argent.
Atlantia, Kingdom of. Heraldic title Blue Crab Herald.
Beatrice von Staufen. Badge for L{u:}tolf von Staufen. Per chevron
vert and sable, a sword argent, a glove grasping the blade, between
in chief two lion's heads cabossed Or.
She has permission to conflict with R{u:}dger von Staufen, Per
chevron vert and sable, a sword argent between in chief two lion's
heads cabossed Or. It is not possible to display Beatrice's badge
given R{u:}dger's blazon, nor is it possible to display
R{u:}dger's device given Beatrice's blazon. Therefore these are
not identical armory for the purposes of the Administrative
Handbook rule IV.C.3, Permission to Conflict. Thus while there are
no CD's between the two pieces of armory, with the letter of
permission we can register Beatrice's badge.
Brennus Barbatus. Name change from Eoin Mac an B{a'}ird.
His former name is released.
Bright Hills, Barony of. Badge for the Cooks Guild. Sable, a cauldron,
a base indented of three points argent.
This is clear of Brekke Franksdottir, Sable, a cooking pot hanging
from a tripod above a flame in base argent. There is one CD for
the change of the charge in base, and a second for the removal of
the tripod.
Caiter{i'}na inghean u{i'} Chonaill. Name and device. Vert, a natural
leopard statant guardant Or spotted sable, on a chief argent three
double roses gules.
Chiara di Franco. Name.
Chiara di Franco. Alternate name Ceara Fhionn inghean Chinn{e'}idigh.
Daved Shmuel ben Rachon. Badge. (Fieldless) A eagle's head erased
contourny proper armed Or maintaining a rose slipped and leaved
proper.
The shape of the rose is grandfathered to the submitter.
Egill Leifsson. Name and device. Azure, on a bend sinister plain
cotised wavy Or three oak leaves palewise vert.

Galen mac Cuinneg{a'}in. Name change from Galen of Elvegast.

Gerrit Sindwulf. Name.
Submitted on the LoI as Gerrit Sindwolf, we have changed the
spelling back to the form originally submitted based on the
example of Gripenwulf found in Bahlow's Deutsches Namenlexikon.
Griffin Warwick. Name.
Herveus d'Ormonde. Badge. (Fieldless) A belt in annulo gules.
The common use in the SCA of a red belt to denote a squire is
nevertheless not a protected usage. Therefore this badge is not
presumptuous. Furthermore, because badges are not regalia, the
registration of this badge does not restrict anyone, squire or
not, from wearing a red belt.
Jean Claude de Calais. Device. Azure, on a pale between two sharks
urinant addorsed argent a trident sable.
