Lord Kendrick ruled many moons ago that items for sale directly
related to the SCA were perfectly allowable on the Merry Rose --
books, armor, garb, fabric, pavilions, camp gear, etc.  No mundane
items like cars or houses or yard sales. The only other request was
that such announcements be limited in number; i.e. no daily updates
on the new goodies that you have for sale.
