Unto Lord Rupert:
Thank you for your concern, but I feel that I must
correct a very common misconception:
Hrosvitha von Gandersheim (my namesake) was a
cannoness - not a nun. She did not take the vow of
poverty. You are correct that she is credited with
being the first female playwrite. She received this
by translating the works of Terrance into German.
This might account for the "stiffness" that you
mentioned.
While I am not "writing inclined", I do dabble in the
bardic arts - choral, drumming and recorder.
