then there is always the cousin to the ocassional and burnt out-the "burned"

that is when someone who has the the enthusasm and desire and was well on
their way to becoming a regular if not a dedicated participant only to have
their will to participate thwarted( and I mean a personal attack not just a
clash of personalities) by someone( or someones if the case may be) in their
local group  rendering them unwilling to attend any local functions in order
not to EVER have to deal with that person again...and for those it is quite
the shame...
