or they will continue to play in the face of those that segregate them,
continue to have fun, continue to grow and surpass those that power trip on
the sca and its assumed, but false, power, and do all they can to become an
asset to the sca. we have all experienced this to some degree, some of us
much more than others.

the sca is infested with gossip mongering people that hide in shadows like
little roaches and bicker and belittle those around them that they do not
bed with within their little cliques. fortunately it is also strengthened
by those that disagree with some people, agree with others, but want to do
whats right and have some fun, all the while learning a little something and
building bonds. so power through the muck and slime that are nasty politics
and backbiting and do something good. so you can add:

willingly dedicated / unwillingly segregated / but purposefully unyielding

Subject: [MR] A possible 6th definition...

Greetings Everyone,

I propose a 6th definition to be added to the
list:

6) Willingly Dedicated / Unwillingly Segregated -
Those individuals who truly wish to participate and
assist but are kept from doing so by the current
political climate of their local area group. These
individuals try very hard to assist, volunteer, and
contribute but they are either ignored or openly
criticized because they either don't belong to the
current "In Factions" or they belong to one of the
current "Out Factions". Quite often these people try
to find other SCA groups that are more open, but
sometime geography does not allow this. These people
then either continue living in the shadows hoping
things will change in their local group or the leave
the SCA completely out of frustration.

In Service,

Ivan
