0) The Lurker: This person seeks out Society booths at demos and faires,
surfs Society Web sites, and may even join e-mail lists.  An avid
participant in related hobbies, she plans to make it to an event Real Soon
Now.  This type may have been an Occasional Participant in the past, but
drifted away before becoming fully engaged.  Lurkers often buy beautiful
hats, swords, jewelry, and other period accessories, and plan to put
together a whole outfit One Of These Days.

To any lurkers out there, I say, "Come on in.  The water's fine!"
