seems to me... that all this comes under the heading of "Study of religion"
not 'being' or presenting 'the' religion. When you say that *you* will
present a piece of religious material, that your studies has found... You
have not declared it to be a specific religion [ yet]. You have not declared
it to be your personal religion, although you may tell [ a bit] of how it
links it to your persona. Then gently close the presentation with... " for
more details please read the documentation." In there, you would/could
expand on your personal feeling about its religious impact and what matters
to you. Please put a tab on that chapter too. Sometimes the very personal
side of inspirations is cool. If the reader feels imposed upon, the reader
can put the book down. Personally, I like the study of various religions. I
have attended many 'services' to observe, not participate. Ru

There is a grey zone, here. Is it exceptable to sing,
in latin, a portion of a 12th century chanted mass in
a bardic competition?
Yes. If you did it well, I suspect you would score very highly. Actual
period music at a bardic competition! Who would have thought!? ;-)
Would it be OK to sing latin
hymns written by Thomas Aquinas in a bardic?
Yes. Although depending on the audience in the bardic, it may or may not be
appreciated.
Is it OK
to do a morality play from period which would have
been presented in Church and which has religious
content?
Yes.
Is it OK to produce a copy of a pattern
darned altar cloth from 13c germany with religious
theme and enter it in an A&S contest?
Yes. (This sounds nice, BTW, I'd love to see it).
Aye,
