Good and Creative Sir:
You put forth some valid points and imaginative scenarios. I agree in part
with the honorable Sajah bint Habushun that there is good reason not to
broadcast to the world but to those who have a particular interest in
history and period reenactment.
>>Broadband announcement will inundate us
>>with .. well .. people who make the Tuchuxs look tame and civilized. (My
>>apologies to the Tuchux nation as well. So much lies in the reputation of
>>the group, not in the individual grace, honor and decorum of its members.)
My apologies also to the colorful Tuchux...
There is already the (IMO) unfounded assertion made by various groups that
the SCA is not serious about pursuing research, but instead is just a group
of folk who just want to bash the bejeezus out of each other. In my short
SCA life I have found that to be decidedly false.
I see a great opportunity to use your ideas. If the SCA page can support
streaming media, why not create these entertaining and informative pieces in
a special link to those who want to find out more about participating in our
wonderful events. Or create them and make them available to folks who are
willing and able to have them on their pages.
Let not a good idea be wasted,
A fair and promising day to you,
Perronelle

Debbie Irwin
