Greetings, Ruaidhri here!

I am not a herald and those of you who know me know that when I arrived
in Atlantia my loathing of heralds was vicious. Through various twists
and turns, I had (heraldicaly speaking) been given a massive run around
in the East. None of my troubles were the result of malice or gross
incompetence but simple miscomunication. Nevertheless my back was up
when I got to Atlantia and when I submitted my second device I had a
very poor attitude toward the heralds I dealt with. I was short
tempered, sarcastic, and down right rude. But despite this the
Atlantian College of Heralds bent over backward to help me.

Therefore, I would like to say, thank you, to all the heralds out
there. I may not understand what you are muttering about when you sit
around the consulting tables, the rules you follow may be beyond my
comprehension, and your sense of humor may seem obscure at times but
you truely care about your art (Yes, ART!) and go out of your way to
help those who ask for help.

To those who, like I did once, might consider finding a recipe for
herald flambeau, wait! Before you pick up the torch, scewers, and
carving knives, try talking to your local herald or at the next event
find the herald's point and sit down with the good people there. They
will help you!

And always remember, politeness costs nothing and embarasses your
enemies.
