[MR] New approved APD for use on wooden shafts

Greetings to the list!

I just received word this morning from the Society Archer Marshal, THL
Gwilym.. that we have Society approval on two new APD's.  He asked me to
post this to the list, so we can try and get the word out quickly and to as
many people as possible.  Please help spread the word and feel free to
forward this email and post it wherever.

These are the two new ones that have been approved for arrows and bolts:

For those of you who have wooden shafts or bolts and have been waiting for
an approved APD design....these are them.

The ridged ring should get approval on fiberglass shafts within a few days,
but the need for wooden shaft APD was far more pressing as there are at
least a few approved APD designs for the fiberglass and none for the wooden
shafts up until now.

My thanks to the gentles who encouraged me and assisted in some of the
testing so that we could get this done in time.

YEAH!!! We have wooden shafts covered again!!!
