[MR] Pennsic Tournament Announcement

King Havordh and Queen Mary Grace of Atlantia and King Fabian and Queen
Susan of the West desire that a tournament be held to celebrate the
Thirtieth Anniversary of the Knighting of Duke Paul of Bellatrix.  All
goodly Knights and valiant fighters of the Known World are welcome.  The
tournament will be held on Tuesday, August 14, AS XXXV from nine to eleven
in the morning on the Pennsic Battlefield.

Rules of the List:

The tournament will begin precisely at nine in the morning. The List will
open for check in at 8:00am.  The List will close at 8:45.  Please in sure
that armor inspection and authorization verification are completed prior to
checking in with the List Officer.

The early rounds will be run as a variation of the Atlantian Speed Style to
a final eight combatants.  The final rounds will be best 2 of 3 with losses
retained from the speed rounds.  In each of these final rounds, combatants
will be required to use three of the four weapons classes as described
below.  Weapons classes will consist of two-handed sword, Florentine without
long hafted weapons, shield and any weapon and great weapons.
