I have gotten confusing posts on CA at Last Chance....so I will just post
this to the list.

I respectfully ask the autocrat and marshalate to allow testing of the
experimental APDs on the field if they have passed the other testing
guidelines as posted by the SAM and the archery council.

Much work has been done on these experimental designs and the major block to
getting at least the gt material airfoil design is that it has not been used
in combat with significant numbers of fighters.

This is the only data I lack in being able to complete the submission for
approval.  It has been tested at the standards of the SEM/SAM and well
beyond those as well, and passed all the testing. The GT APD was
demonstrated at Crown to Beerslayer and to the Deputy Kingdom Archer
Marshal. Ld Robert the Forgotten. Samples have been given to the KAM and
others for testing and no negative results have been reported.

We tested them at Nottinghill Coill baronial war practice, but lacked a
significant number of fighters to make the results count for much.

At no point in testing has there been a major failure.  (I did manage to get
penetration in a few very excessive tests, FAR beyond the reccomended
testing, like shooting the arrows APD first at a helm at a full draw from
less than 15 feet....failed on the 20 something hit in one test and on the
5th hit to a bar section that exceeded the legal opening distance in
another)

It is my belief that Sir Beerslayer has approved this design for
experimental use, based on our conversations and demonstration at Crown, and
a followup by Ld Robert the Forgotten prior to Baronial war practice here in
the Coill.  If I am in error please someone tell me!!!

If anyone wants the latest testing data (done at less strict standards than
the original as per the SAM's suggestions),or more information then please
email me and I will supply it to you.

There is also additional information on other experimental APD there as
well, including a Trimarian design similar to mine that is approved for
experimental use in Trimaris.....I have heard, but not offically that my
design is being tested there also as an experimental design.

  On a more personal note: While I have invested significant time and money
in this design and its testing... I remain firmly opposed to requiring APDs.

If you have not done so, I also encourage you to write or email the BOD in
opposition to this requirement. Atlantia's stance has historically been to
make people aware of possible hazards and let them take what protective
measures each individual feels is necessary... like voluntarily screening or
wearing other eye protection if they felt it was needed, and not doing so if
they felt it was not needed....(just like the SEM's handbook USED to say
before this requirment was rammed through with such poor planning)
