Greeting Lords and Ladies, Good Gentles All....
Once again I invite you to the fair lands of Black Diamond for the Kingdom
Arts and Sciences Festival this weekend on March 3rd. Details can be found
at http://www.mephistos.com/a&s/
A few things that are not there that I will share:
All donations beyond the minor expenses will go the the Oak and the Royal
Travel Fund, equally.
There will be an area for food displays. Having had some inquiries I
thought I would share that the autocrat is very fond of food and loves to
try "new" dishes even if they are a few hundred years old. So bring your
favorite dish and share it with one who is I am sure going to be stressed
and will look forward to the treats on Saturday.
All live performances are welcome as well. There is a room set aside for
song, tales, and other entertainments throughout the day. We in Black
Diamond, as I am sure the entire Kingdom, are very fond of many forms that
both lighten our hearts as well as take us to deep emotions.
A number of guilds will be doing consults, demos, and/or providing
information. The list includes at least:
Known Wholr Spinners
Glass Workers Guild
Archane's Web
St. Anne's Guild
In addition, the Oak will be present and looking for submissions of your
fine artwork, research, and how to's. There will be a pavillion
construction demonstration, pewter casting demonstrations, and an exhibit
entitled Sheep to Shaw.
Bear in mind these are only updates and clarifications to the many things
already listing on the website/in the acorn.
In service,
Raynold of Wharram
