Let us clarify this removal of Pay to Play/Fight. First of all, this
will not be active until May 1st. This means that everything in status
quo until then, you have to show proof of waiver to fight at events.
May 1st is when things will change.
The gist is that you have to show proof of waiver or sign one to fight.
Makes sense, right?
So, if you are a member, and have your blue card and your fighter card,
then you show these to the MoL at an event and fight like normal. Show
your blue card, show your fighter card, fight and have fun.
After May 1st, if you lost your blue card, your wife has it, your dog
ate it, you are having problems with Milpitas and it hasn't arrived in
time, you left it in your wallet in your car, or you aren't a member
THEN you can sign a waiver the day of the event, pay $1 to the MoL
office for handling fee and go about your merry way.
So...
Have fighter card
Have blue membership card
Fight :)
On and After 5/1/2001
Have fighter card
no blue card?
sign waiver, pay dollar
Fight :)
As always, if you have any questions you can contact your Friendly
Neighborhood Kingdom Minister of the Lists or one of her regional
deputies and they will be glad to answer your queries. Their contact
information is in the Regnum in the Acorn.
This is not meant to be patronizing, but clarifying. If you are an
officer, local or marshal or otherwise, you will need to be a member,
but that is between you and the kingdom officer.
