If you ever want to remove yourself from this mailing list,
send the following command in email to
atlantia-request at csc.ncsu.edu:

approve BS9EcC unsubscribe atlantia at atlantia.sca.org

Note that this works even if your address changes; for that reason (among
others) it is important that you have this message handy when it comes time
for you to leave the the list.

If you ever need to get in contact with the owner of the list,
(if you have trouble unsubscribing or have questions about the
list itself) send email to atlantia-owner at csc.ncsu.edu.
This is the general rule for most mailing lists when you need
to contact a human.

The purpose of this list is to connect Atlantians, be they in Atlantia
or in residence elsewhere, for a quicker flow of news, questions, and
just general information. News: event annoucements, awards,
happenings. Questions: ask for directions from people in a certain
area, ask for crash space, getting in contact with someone,
clarifications, how-to questions/reference questions. General
information: tips on X you just discovered/have used in the past, FYI.
Certainly, these are only possibilities and not limitations on what
can be posted. Please, however, refrain from posting obviously
off-topic posts like humor postings, virus warnings, or job openings.

While this is not a moderated list as such, flames and general bad
manners will not be tolerated, and Lord Kendrick and Lady Elenore will
not hesitate to unsubscribe anyone who persists.

If you wish to become part of the digest (weekly or 1mb digests
[whichever
comes first]), send "mojo at atlantia.sca.org" the following command:

set atlantia digest-weekly-text

If you ever want to change back to getting each message, issue this
command
to mojo at atlantia.sca.org:

set atlantia each

If you go on vacation and don't want the list to send you e-mail
while you are gone, use this command:

set atlantia nomail

To undo the "nomail" command, just send one of the previous messages
(depending on whether you want individual messages or the digest).

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to email us directly.
