To all the noble tellers of tales, writers of songs and poems, and keepers of
memories,
>From Baroness Aileen, Atlantian Historian:

In honor of the thirtieth year of the Kingdom of Atlantia, I am collecting
tales of Her great past, either those from Her infant years or those more
recent, before they are lost to the darkness of time.  To this end, I am
making a call to all who have a fond or sad memory which they wish preserved.
In particular, I am asking those who have a happy felicity with words to
write down or record their words, so that they may be included in a Book of
History.  Through the office of the Clerk of Signet, I am making a request of
the scribes of Atlantia to assist in putting those words to paper in worthy
form.

I know that some such tales have already been recorded, in the Atlantian
Book of Verse recently published by Lady Tehair.  May I obtain permission for
those works (such as Mistress Ceridwen's poem for Sir Kane and Mistress
Muirgen) to be re-copied and included in a book of history?

I thank those who have been providing me with such tales over the course of
the past few years, and ask that those willing to assist with this project
contact me at mhwag at aol.com.  I will accept any format:  electronic, paper,
tape recordings, etc....  Sir Gyrth, have you a tape recorder
handy?....?.....?

In service to Atlantia's past and present, I remain
Baroness Aileen
