Regarding hot camp showers.....my household's 30 gal propane hotwater heater
works great.

Regarding drainage.....have you put a flow restrictor on the head you are
using?  This can significantly cut down on waste water, not to mention make
the 30 gal tank go much further in number of showers.  Also you get better
pressure when 20 other campsites on your water line are all trying to take
showers at once. Also we found if you will dig a few post hole type holes
deeper than your sump, you will help drain the water faster into
clay....actually clay will hold a LOT of water, it just holds it too well!

the old navy shower of wet turn it off, soap up, turn it on and rinse off is
also a good idea.....course you can always just turn off the cold water from
outside the shower...that seems to help people get out quickly (lol)
