[MR] GOLF TUBE ARROWS AT PENNSIC......PROBLEMS

Sigfried pointed out to me that the CA rules for Pennsic specifically limit
ALL arrow lengths to 28 inches, so the majority of Atlantian Golftubes will
be illegal unless the Crowns of the two sides waive this rule.

I also discovered from a detailed reading of what I had previously skimmed
that there is no provision in the CA rules for Pennsic for the spearhead
type construction heads that most people in Atlantia use on the tubes, only
the tennis ball head.

Between these two omissions I fear that there are very very few GT arrow in
Atlantia that will pass the CA rules for Pennsic

I am sorry that I did not notice this earlier so it could be called to the
attention of our King, Warlord, Kingdom Archery Marshal, and Captain of the
Archers, but I have been busy on the APD problems and simply skimmed the
Pennsic CA rules since I am not able to go this year.

I am afraid that the option of using the golf tubes is now far more limited
and that some of the archers who were planning on using them rather than
retrofitting the shafted arrows are now without that option unless the
Crowns of the East and the Middle take some further action.

Since I am just a lowly Ld and archer with no office, It would not be approp
for me to pursue this further, however it is my hope that His Majesty or Sir
Tnek or someone else who is an appropriate representative of Atlantia will
approach the Crowns of the East and Middle about this.
