Period room cleaning is easy. Live in a hovel/castle with your goats and
dogs. Said period animals will eat up everything thrown on floor and
transmute it into a form easily swept out with the straw :-)  Or get a
teenage son and say :"You get the keys to the wagon when the castle is
clean." Or consider the period definition of "clean" in the first place -
rather like a college dorm room or third world country of today...(grin) -
