Unto His Excellency, Sir Magnus balli Thorvaldsson, Baron of Caer Mear
by the Grace of Their Royal Majesties and God, greetings and wishes for
every good fortune from Lord Kevin of Thornbury, Companion of the Order
of St. Aiden!
Your Excellency, the Grace of our Lord is apparent in the words and
deeds of master craftsmen, chivalrous knights and exalted servants. It
is this Grace that I desire as I write to You this day.
True Barons delight in Their subjects and Their lands. Noble rulers
seek to protect those who serve them. So, too must You delight in the
glory of Caer Mear and Her people.
Our patron Saint, Aiden counseled to give as if every pasture in the
mountains of Ireland belonged to us. Whereas we are chartered to
perform special missions upon the field at the command of our King, we
seek to lend You aid as His Majesty's vassal and rightful baron. To
wit, if it please His Majesty, we offer to be employed against Their
Majesties' enemies, as can be found within the borders of Their Barony
of Caer Mear.
My words are sincere, with love for Atlantia and Her Crown. I pray they
find You in good health, and wish You the joy that comes from worshipful
rule.
Done by my hand this twelfth day of April, Anno Societatis XXXV on Holy
Thursday.
