Greetings Friend Balynar!
As a Norseman ye should know that war is seldom a personal thing, but is merely business. In truth, I would stand beside you-knee deep in the steaming entrails of our foe, harkening to the musical sounds made by our dying enemies, rejoicing in our brotherhood of arms, feasting on the suffering of those foolhardy enough to move against us, drinking of the joy that can only be found when surrounded by shield brothers united, but, alas, I have a great deal of overhead.
You offer glory. Sir Ramses offers glory AND cash. And you have to agree as a Norseman, that his incentive plan is quite lucrative. As to horses, keep in mind that they are easily sold once the booty has been brought to market. As to the sacking of churches, what with inflation and all, the pickings have been somewhat slim of late.
On the other hand, tales are told and songs are sung throughout the Known Worlde of the riches of Caer Maer, of the skill of their artisans, and the beauty of their women. Surely Odin's Daughters will smile upon me as I embark on such a fine venture!

<<<Come now fine warrior! The only horses a norseman needs is Slepneir, and the
only plunder he should crave is from the halls of Valhalla! ( ok, and an
occasional Catholic Church ). But the only way to attain these things are
through honorable and glorious combat. To ally yourself with filthy eastern
Barbarians, who use their woman as objects, is to court folly! To raise axe
or spear against one of your own will surely deny you the mead of the Gods.
Join me, my brother, in ousting these people from our lands!>>.
