My youngest daughter is now 7 1/2. She has been helping out at events since
she was about 3-4. She helps pick trash up on site, wipes tables before &
after feast, sweeps floors after feast, runs errands for people, etc. Her
biggest thing for the last year or so has been helping look out for the 3-5
year olds and keep them occupied. I have had several parents tell me how
much they appreciate her helping to keep their small children entertained
and out of trouble (which keeps HER out of trouble, too!).

It's not so hard to keep them happy if you think of the little things they
CAN do to help.
