[MR] Two Lists or not Two lists

Having thought about this somemore, I think the most
helpful answer I have seen was the one recommending
use of the seneschal list for official announcements. 
My theory is that the seneschal ought to be the
information conduit for a group, especially for those
who have no access to email or who for whatever reason
dont get the Acorn (new? cheap? moving?).  If official
announcements (like event cancellations or changes or
pleas for assistance on short notice) went to the
seneschal's list as well as the Merry Rose (and less
technicalogical notification methods), then that
chanel of information would be flowing freely and
official announcements could get forwarded to local
lists and carried into meetings.  And thus, for me and
for many folk on the smaller more focused lists,
participation in the MR could remain optional, and
thus fun.  And there are few things worse than being
forced to listen to jokes. :^)
