Hi 'lisabeth!
Capital idea! I was the one that started the outpouring re the Not Funny
Joke, I guess. Oh, dear me! Just feeling that sexism is such a boring
topic nowadays and dreaming that it duzn't exist. Noticed there wuz even a
little report from a Professor Rupert who teaches comedy and he gave a sweet
rendition of what we regard as humour. Oh, well. Just for the record, I've
never found excrement jokes funny either. And I'm sorry to someone like you
if my posting consequently bogged down ur emails - but seems you've got a
great system anyway! Thanks Lady 'lisabeth!

business on this mailing list have done this or not, but my solution (and
yes, I do this on several mailing lists) is to get the lists in digest form.
Then when "reading" the digest, I use my "find" to find "Subject:" (don't
forget the colon, sometimes there are messages that will slow you up
considerably

that interest me (and occasionally those that seem to have generated more
responses than "normal").... saves much time... and most of the aggrevation
that trying to look at all of them would bring.

(unfortuately a couple of my lists don't have those) and delete the whole
thing unread.
