Folks,

The Merry Rose is, and always has been, a text only mailing list.
This means that HTML e-mail should *not*, I repeat *not* be sent to
the list.  HTML e-mail cannot be read by all mail clients and
is therefore not appropriate for this list.  People who persist 
in sending HTML e-mail run the risk of having their subscriptions 
put on hold.  

It is your responsibility to make sure you're not sending HTML
e-mail.  If you don't know whether or not your sending HTML 
e-mail, consider what e-mail client you're using (Outlook 
and outlook express almost always send html e-mail).  

I don't like seeming to be heavy handed hear, but I've mentioned
this many times before and no one seems to listen.  Therefore,
starting immediately, anyone sending HTML e-mail will get one
warning and if they persist will have their account put on
hold until the correct the situation (on hold means they will
still receive messages but will be prevented from posting).
If anyone has a problem with this, send me personal e-mail
(there's no need to waste list bandwidth that could be
better used).
