I don't know if those who have posted their unhappiness with other than business on this mailing list have done this or not, but my solution (and yes, I do this on several mailing lists) is to get the lists in digest form. Then when "reading" the digest, I use my "find" to find "Subject:" (don't forget the colon, sometimes there are messages that will slow you up considerably
otherwise). I just search down the digest, stopping only at those items that interest me (and occasionally those that seem to have generated more responses than "normal").... saves much time... and most of the aggrevation that trying to look at all of them would bring.
There are times that I just check the subjects list at the top (unfortuately a couple of my lists don't have those) and delete the whole thing unread.
