Please define high quality. How much punishment do you want it to take? At
the simplest utility level, you can take a pattern to a welding shop, pick a
metal thickness, grind an edge onto it and fit it to a shaft. Most people in
the SCA never actually _use_ their weapons so (for many) appearance is more
important than function. If you are looking for macramé tassels, stainless
steel, etc. that's a whole different type of quality. Either way, most of
the time, you get what you pay for.
