Also, dance flyers (cheat sheets) will be available at Coronation, to serve
as a memory aid, and to provide help remembering the steps for each of the
dances. A limited number will be available at Troll and at dance practice
on Saturday, with the bulk to be handed out at the Ball itself. (If you
don't get one when you check-in at Troll, don't fret. You won't really need
one until it's time to dance.)

The cheat sheets also serve a secondary purpose -- to provide documentation
as to the source and year for all of the dances. Except for two of the
schdeuled dances, all of them are either pre-1600 or come from the first
edition of John Playford's "The English Dancing Master", published in 1651.
(There is an ongoing debate as to whether Playford should be considered
period or not... if you'd like to learn more, come join the Dance Academie!)
(sorry 'bout the shameless plug!)

Anyway, if you're planning to dance at the Ball (and we hope everybody at
Coronation is) please be sure to get a cheat sheet.
