I want to answer your comment and concern Lord Cameron while I am not the Autocrat I believe I carry the correct information. Trial by fire was always a "cooking" event and didn't really have any other activities. We decided years ago it made more sense to hold the LM arrow shoot at this event for obvious reasons. So please go easy on the Autocrat, there was no slight to any one focus area but this event was never designed as an all around event. I am sure if there was major interest from a certain community it would be evaluated to see if there was adequate room to support as the site is fairly packed with cooking and archery as the two main focuses...<br>

Good gentles, Bright Hills will be hosting the Lochmere Arrow this year. Anyone can participate in this shoot. To compete for the Lochmere Arrow you will need to have teams of two from any Barony, Shire or Canton. Teams of two will shoot together and at the end of the day the highest score will be the winner of the Lochmere Arrow. If you win this competition you or your group agrees to host next years Lochmere Arrow.<br>

It is recommended to bring as many arrows/bolts as you can. There are several timmed stations that you may need plenty arrows/bolts.<br>
<br>
This shoot is designed for every level of archer with the main emphasis on having fun.<br>
<br>
Inspections start at 9am and the shoot will start at 10am.<br>

I think my tone may have sounded harsher than I intended. I forwarded over<br>
eight questions that I have fielded about the event to the MiC.<br>
<br>
My goal is only to remind us all, including myself, to be more clear about<br>
what our specific activities entail. That by providing more information and<br>
passing that along to the relevant people: Social Media folks, Autocrats,<br>
etc we will all be better for it.<br>

Our activities will be better advertised, we can potentially get more<br>
