I know Sir John conceded somewhat do to my incessant badgering if you will, but there is no supporting evidence that there was ever an incident where someone was injured or even came close to being injured from a broken prod. I know they are trying to be safe and applaud that but it is really a useless rule and now since the “grandfathering” doubt you will ever see it enforced. Was there ever a message on this? Well, I'm a lot older than Lord Elvis now, and sometimes miss things.</span></div><div><span style="">I read through the rules, and most of them seem about the same. I say "about" because some of the rules have been rewritten for clarity. The text is much improved. There are some new rules on crossbows that require coverings for certain types of prods. This rule is grandfathered to exclude weapons already in service.</span></div><div><span style="">What is new, however, is a section on period archery. I know this had been in the works for a couple of years, and I'm glad it is finally here.
