Good morning my Brothers and Sisters of the bow. I wanted to send a note about the Champion's team for archery at Pennsic 42. Right now I dont have any information to pass along at this time because none has been provided. I will inquire and let eevryone know as soon as I hear. I do know we are allied with the East again this year so the number of slots available could be considerably less than we had last year. Also due to my schedule, I have asked Lord Ghijskijn Van den Vaerst to lead the Champions team this year. I will try to be there as much as possible but I know I have some conflicts.

For those of you that might want to shoot for Atlantia and have never participated in the past, I wanted to just let you know how it works in a nutshell. Our goal is obviously to win to posatively contribute the war points given to our side. With that said there is always a limited number of slots for shooters and when we have more like last year (20), we are able to accomidate some of our newer shooters. But in a year like we face this year partnered with the East, we will most likely only get a handful of slots so the duty will fall to our best shooters in the Kingdom. This is not the popular way to proceed but it is a necessity to our allies. I encourage everyone to come to the try outs even if you dont get selected for the final team. Just know that it is not a personal decision but one of capability to score points during the shoot. If for some reason we do end up getting close to 20 slots again, that opens the list to be able to add lower ranking archers to our list oth
er than GBE's.
I will post more information when I receive it,
Good morning my Brothers and Sisters of the Bow. I try to keep my "preaching" to a minimum but I feel that a friendly reminder is in order to our scoring marshals for Royal rounds. Please make sure when you are entering scores that they are entered for the correct bow the archer is shooting. The classes we record are:

1. Longbow

2. Recurve

3. Period

4. Crossbow

There is no distinction for a period vs crossbow with a rear sight. They are both still recorded as "Crossbow" class bows.

If you have any questions concerning this issue please feel free to contact me.
