So before I even offer for Atlantia to think about hosting the shoot again ,I would like to hear your thoughts. I will be very blunt and open and state that I think it is time for some of our marshal’s and archers who have not helped over the last 2 years to contribute targets and marshal the event. I perfectly understand if some of our contributors from the last 2 years want to take a year off, they have well deserved that! But, at the same time we cannot pull off this shoot if we don’t have enough target stations and marshals to run it.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'> <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'>We have tried 2 approaches so far with scheduling for the shoot and I think I have come up with a 3<sup>rd</sup> that would ease the numbers we would need. If we are thinking about 12-14 stations again, I was thinking that if we had a marshal per station for a 4 hour morning shift, and then they switch with relief to take the afternoon 4 shift, this would cut the number of needed marshals down to 28 or so which is about the number of volunteers we get each year. BUT! This would need to be a majority of folks that have not stepped up to help over the last 2 years. I’m sure some of you will offer again such as I, but I would like to see some new faces contributing to what has become a real staple of Pennsic now!
