Date: Sat, 13 Nov 2010 19:08:53 -0800<BR>From: holly0920@yahoo.com<BR>To: archers@seahorse.atlantia.sca.org<BR>Subject: [Archers] winter challenge picture<BR><BR><PRE>Grettings archers!<BR>Attached to this email is a photo of the winter challenge ying/yang target face. <BR>(all shot up)<BR>I made it so I thought I would also add a description of exactly how I drew it. <BR>It is just like what Fen told you:<BR> <BR>Take one 60 cm Royal Round target.<BR>Bisect it vertically.<BR>Draw two circles, one atop the other, using the radii of the Royal Round (which <BR>you just drew) as their diameters.<BR>At this point you will have a RR target with two circles within, touching at the <BR>center of the RR, each with a diameter of 30 cm.<BR>Starting at the top, draw a heavy line following the upper circle to the left <BR>(counter-clockwise) until you reach the middle of the RR target. <BR> <BR>Continue your heavy line following the lower circle to the right (clockwise) <BR>until you reach the bottom of the RR target.<BR>Now you should have a RR target with a ying-yang symbol imposed upon it. Hang <BR>the target so it looks like an "s" -- voila!<BR>I found that the line you draw has to be at least 3/16 inch to 1/4 inch wide or <BR>you cannot see it from 20 yards.<BR> <BR>This is so evil and so fun!
